Structural Analysis-Conjugate Beam Method

Beam is converted to conjugate beam based on its end conditions.

Moment acting in beam is divided by EI and then treated as load acting on the conjugate beam.

At any point on conjugate beam, calculated shear force and moment represents the beam’s slope and deflection at that point respectively.
