Highway-Horizontal Curves

 1. Transitioned Curves: Match superelevation (SE) runoff with the transition.

2. Untransitioned Curves: 

    a. Circular curves (50% of SE at tangent; 50% of SE at curve) or (70% of SE at tangent; 30% of SE at curve for urban & mountainous area)

    b. Reverse Curves with no Intervening Straight (SE=0% at common tangent point; full SE at each curves)

    c. Compound Curves (Full SE at sharper curve)
