Bridge-Post-Tensioning

Post-tensioning is conducted by transferring the stress in tendons to hardened concrete.

The installation of internal tendons involves pulling and stretching the tendons, inside the ducts that have been casted in the concrete.

External tendons are installed in ducts outside the hardened concrete section.

Post-tensioning can be used in either precast or cast in-situ beams.
