Bridge-Strands and Tendons

A strand of wire is made up by twisting individual wires around an inner core wire.

7-wire strand is commonly used with diameter of either 13mm or 15mm.

A multi-strand tendon is produced by combining multiple wire strands.

Common numbers of wire strands used in tendon are 7, 12, 19 and 27.
