Bridge-Tendon Placement

For post-tensioned member, tendon can be placed by either pushing or pulling it through the ducting.

Hand pushing is applicable for bar tendons or strand tendons with short length and simple duct profile. Equipment is used for more complicated cases.

Push-through method places the tendon one by one until the intended number of tendons are in place.

Pull-through method places bundled tendons that have been cut to length at once.
