Bridge-Tendon Protection

Prior to stressing, the tendons can be coated with soluble oil, which will be washed off when they are in use.

After placing the tendons in ducts, the void in duct is filled to remove water and air, and thus cut the path for moisture to reach the tendons.

The filler can be either cement grout, grease/wax or both.
