Bridge-Fin-Back Bridge

A fin-back bridge is similar to extradosed bridge, but with the stays replaced with concrete fin that encases prestressing tendons.

The fin is provided over the pier region, stiffen the deck section and improves the sectional resistance there.

The design of fin-back bridge is similar to that for box girder deck bridge.
