Foundation-Meyerhof Formula for Shallow Foundation

Meyerhof provided solution that can solve for the bearing capacity in year 1963.

This solution is applicable to shallow foundation regardless of the load inclination.

The form of the Meyerhof’s equation is similar to that proposed by Terzaghi, except that several factors are introduced to take the footing shape, depth and load inclination into consideration.
