Hydrology-Hydrologic Cycle

Hydrologic cycle is a continuous circulation of water over the earth.

The water is transported from and to ocean through precipitation, evaporation, transpiration, infiltration and runoff.

It might be stored in land surface features, soil and groundwater instead of flowing back to the ocean.

Horton’s representation qualitatively demonstrates this process.
