Rainfall mass curve is produced by plotting accumulated rainfall depth against time.

It is produced by either weighing-bucket or natural-syphon type gauges.

We can know the rainfall intensity at any moment based on its instantaneous slope.

Steep slope denotes high intensity, while flat curve means there is no rainfall.
