Concrete Compression Test

Compressive strength is the most important properties for hardened concrete.

During the construction, test samples are extracted from fresh concrete for the estimation of actual concrete strength.

Compression test can be conducted using either cube or cylindrical specimens.

During the test, peak load that leads to the crushing of concrete is recorded. The strength of concrete is then calculated based on the peak load and specimen surface area under compression.
